Project Grace (AIDS Ministry) This is a joint effort of the Christian churches of Santa Cruz county to show the love of Christ to those living with HIV. We work most often in cooperation with a local agency, the Santa Cruz AIDS Project (SCAP). They have a one-on-one, "Buddy Program" which connects volunteers with a HIV+ person who requests such help. One third of these volunteers are from our members! Last year Project Grace provided such help as transportation, house cleaning, and meals through our volunteers giving 200 hours of service. |
New Support Group: We offer a Christian based group open to all HIV+ and their friends. We meet in downtown Santa Cruz at the SCAP offices on Cooper and Front Streets. Contact Sandy if you would llike to attend the group.
